When I try to place or edit a floor or ceiling platform hole in my drawing, I receive one of the following messages:
What do these messages mean?
A hole in an object such as a floor or ceiling platform should be completely contained within that object. A platform hole should not touch the edge of the platform, extend past the edge of the platform, or be contained by multiple platforms.
If you draw a floor or ceiling platform hole at a location where it is not completely contained within a single floor or ceiling platform, one of these messages may display. If you receive the first message, the problem hole will be circled, as shown in the image below. Select the hole and either adjust its size/position so it no longer spans multiple floor/ceiling platforms, or Delete it. If you receive the second message, a hole will not be created.
